Using a Wedding Celebrant allows you to decide on
exactly the kind of wedding you want, the extent of your imagination is really
the only limit.
It is all about your choices, will your wedding day
be traditional, modern, quirky or romantic. It could contain some special elements such as Hand fasting, Jumping the Broom, Ring Warming or one of the others that you will find listed and explained in the Wedding Menu page.
Where will your ceremony be held? hotel, a castle, a field, a wooded area, a beach, on top of a hill, at the side of a lake, in your garden the possibilities are endless.
This is your day, it is about you so why be
constrained by convention, make a statement, be different, make your wedding
day reflect your personality, your beliefs, make it uniquely yours.
Every ceremony I write is individual and personal to that specific couple, I design it with you, about you and for you. You can pick your own words for when you exchange rings, choose your own readings, the whole structure and content of your wedding is designed around the you. It means that you’ll have a ceremony script that fits no other couple, it is yours and yours alone.
To be legally married in England and Wales, you still have to complete the basic legal requirements of marriage in front of a Registrar at a suitably licensed venue. This can be done any time before your ceremony even earlier on the same day at your local registry office.
Once the legal bit is taken care of the sky really is your limit!
Often couple who have
chosen to marry abroad have a party when they return home so that all the
friends and relatives who could not attend can celebrate their marriage with
them. This can include a Blessing conducted by a celebrant containing special
elements making it a memorable day for you and your guests. Not forgetting of
course another chance for the Bride to wear her dream dress.
It is possible to have the registrar attend a venue that has a Marriage License but the the ceremony will be a short and simple one just the same as if you were married at the registry office. This can cost anywhere from £350 -£500. My services cost £350 +any special elements that you choose to add and your ceremony will be totally unique to you.
